Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer will work with our sales team to provide multiple levels of technical support for our customers. Primary responsibilities include engaging potential and current customers in order to design appropriate solutions using our products and ensuring any technical questions are addressed. Qualified candidates must be willing to travel both domestically and overseas.


  • Collaborate with the sales team in a technical capacity during the sales cycle, including support, design, and implementation
  • Provide first-line technical support for product evaluations and/or prototype projects
  • Provide technical guidance and customer service to potential and existing customers
  • Support marketing events and attend trade shows
  • Provide technical input required for proposals and other documentation
  • Communicate with our global R&D team to ensure an accurate and timely respond for all technical issues
  • Participate in product testing and troubleshooting


  • Diploma or degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent is preferred


  • Experience working in a technology company
  • Experience working within a technical support or technical consulting role, especially face-to-face with clients
  • Project management experience is an asset


  • Basic knowledge of one or more programming language such as Java, C language, PHP, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of database systems such as MySQL and MSSQL
  • Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux, and MacOS at a user level
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Must be fluent in English (fluency in French or Spanish is an asset)
  • Capable of working as a team and coordinating with other departments
  • Able to thrive under pressure and come up with creative solutions
  • Able to learn complex technological concepts quickly with great attention to detail
  • Capable of frequently travel (domestic and overseas)
